At our school, we hold high expectations for the success and achievement of all of our children!  We are an enthusiastic school community dedicated to providing a quality instructional program for our students in kindergarten through fifth grade.  The West Park staff works diligently to foster a positive school climate that ensures a child’s opportunity to gain knowledge, develop strong character, and be motivated to attend and achieve.  We are a Positive Behavior Support School (PBS), and as a PBS school, we strive to have our students be PREPARED, PRODUCTIVE, and POSITIVE.  We are recognized by the Delaware Department of Education as both a SUPERIOR school for achievement and a STAR school for positive behavior.  Our goal is to foster individual initiative and strengthen a motivated community.  We strive to have a network of open communication and teamwork between students, parents, and staff.

I’ve heard some refer to West Park as a hidden treasure.  If you don’t already know, you are invited to discover what makes this place so special.  This school has talented and dedicated teachers, supportive parents, an active PTA, and caring neighbors.  Our school data shows that we are competitive and hold our students to high standards.  With panda pride, we look forward to welcoming you to our school community.
