There are three maps below showing the directions to Pulaski Intermediate School. The first map below is the large view of the Wilmington area with Pulaski Elementary School located with a red star. The second map is zoomed in to show you better street details. The third map is zoomed in even closer to show the exact location of the school.
This is the Pulaski map showing details of the neighborhood. We have several parks within walking distance as well as Frawley Stadium. At different times in the school year, we take advantage of this feature.
Many of our streets are one way. It is usually easier to come to the school from Maryland Avenue and then turn up the hill on Banning Street. Both parking lots are found on this side of the building. The first or lower lot, is solely for teacher use. The second or the upper lot, can be used for parents or you may choose to park on the street as well. Please be careful when pulling in and out, since the top parking lot is also connected to the playground and students may be in the area. Please do not park in front of the school on Cedar Street between 8:15-9:00AM and 2:45-3:30PM so that the buses may use that area pick up and let off children. Thank you for your cooperation in this important part of our school day! *Substitutes - Please do NOT park in the lower parking lot. Most teachers have assigned places and it causes great difficulty when they cannot get to their places!
Although the red star is located in one corner of the block formed by Banning Street, S. Broom Street, Cedar Street, and S. Franklin Street, the entire block is the school. There are no other houses or parks in the block.
