Sheppard Software

The best of the games are geography games that teach states, capitals, and countries.  Some are vocal and read the state name or capital as you play.  Topics include USA, world, animals, vocabulary, health, science, math, and history.

National Geographic Kids

A little bit of everything.  Has links to the magazine, games, and activities for kids.

Web Sudoku

For the fan of these logic puzzles they will automatically generate as many new puzzles as you need.  They come in Easy, Medium, Hard, and Evil.

Jigsawdoku

These puzzles are a combination of jigsaw puzzles and sudoku.  They feature 4 x 4 squares and 6 x 6 squares.  An easy way to learn this puzzle.

 


Construct A Word

Students can combine letters to create new words.  Good way to practice using rhyming words and word families.

ABC Match

This is a great site for beginning readers to practice the sounds that various letters make.  It is also a memory game.

Great site with many reading activities for beginning readers.  Free to use but users must register first.

This is a great way to practice Internet Safety by playing games.

Primary Krypto

The rules of Krypto are simple: combine five number cards using the four arithmetic operations (+, –, ×, ÷) to arrive at a "target" number.  If you love the 24 game you will enjoy playing!

Puzzle Blocks

While there are only three puzzle shapes to choose from, a player will need to turn the pieces to make the figure.  Similar to tanagrams.
