Pulaski Elementary School is a small, child friendly place to be!  We are centrally located between several small parks and within walking distance of Frawley Stadium and do we take advantage of that!

As you navigate our web page – keep in mind the three P’s we use to focus and define everything that is Pulaski : Be Positive – Be Persistent – and Be Productive – in short, just Be Pulaski. Please stop by our school sometime soon to join in on our learning community.

Pulaski has high expectations for student behavior.  For a copy of the Christina District Code of Conduct, click here.  You can choose to view it in either English or Spanish.  Please read carefully so that your student might be as successful as possible.

CALLING ALL CHRISTINA SCHOOL
DISTRICT PARENTS!!!
Planning is underway for our 2010-2011 School Year. Your partnership is important for the success of all students.  Federal funding for resources, programs, and parental involvement activities will be shared.
The meeting is on Wednesday, July 21, 2010

The library is still missing books.  PLEASE look for missing books and get them back to the library!  If the book is truly lost, you may pay for it.  If a family is experiencing hardship, accommodations can be made for the student to work it off.  Unfortunately if the debt is not satisfied by the end of the school year, we must withhold the report card.  PLEASE come see Mrs. Berbeza as soon as possible if there is a problem.

If you came from another Christina School, the library debt will have followed you.  Mrs. Berbeza will be more than happy to settle up the debt and either send the book or money to your previous school.  Do not wait, please take care of this matter as soon as possible.  Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

Happy 4th of July!  This is the day our country supports our independence from England.  To find out more click here.  As we celebrate, many people set off fireworks.  If you are curious about how fireworks work, click here.

BOOKS, BOOKS, AND MORE BOOKS!

The library has been adding many books this year, but we recently received a very nice order of books that will complement our science curriculum.  Next year students will be able to check out books that will go with topics they are learning in the classroom!

There are crossing guards to assist our students around the school.  Please remember to stop and look both ways before crossing the street.

All students should be seated when the bus is moving.  It is very important to the safety of every child on the bus that everyone behaves appropriately.  Any questions please call the District Transportation Department at 454-2281.

STOP!  THINK!  MAKE GOOD CHOICES!

The PBS program is a behavior incentive program that encourages students to make excellent choices and rewards those who do.  There are monthly school wide incentives for students to cash in their tickets, as well as smaller classroom incentives.  We love seeing ALL students succeed!
