Men's Tennis Team Awarded Sportsmanship Awards

The NHS Men's Tennis Team was awarded the Team Sportsmanship Award at the annual USTA Award Celebration on Sunday, January 3.  Coach John Taylor accepted the Bunny Vosters Team Sportsmanship Award at the ceremony.  Newark's first singles player, junior Vijay Sarathi, received the Ken Isaacs Sportsmanship Award which is given to the male athlete who exhibits the most sportsmanlike behavior in the state.  Way to go Vijay!
