Principal's Message:

Welcome to McVey, an award-winning, Blue Ribbon School!

We, at McVey, continue to follow our motto of: We want to come to school and learn to be the BEST that we can be.  By striving to honor our motto and follow our Positive Behavior Support initiatives of Be Respectful, Everyone Cares, Safety Counts, Take Responsibility, we endeavor to become successful role models and outstanding citizens.
The students and staff work to their BEST everyday.  We reach out to our families and community leaders to partner with us in helping us pursue the creative and academically rigorous talents we possess.  Join us in fulfilling our goals by:

• Becoming regular visitors to our school

• Volunteering with classroom activities and field trips

• Becoming active members of the PTA

• Working to help your child complete homework

• Attending conferences at school

• Attending and participating in upcoming school events

• Helping us follow out BEST rules each and every day

We encourage you to look for letters, notes, and news articles coming home to remind you of important dates and vital school information.
