Moms' BreakfastWednesday, February 24, 7:00–8:15am This is the time of year when we say "Thank you" to our many moms and ladies for all they do to help make our lives special and for their many contributions to Downes Elementary School and our students. This is always a fun event and no one goes away hungry. We encourage all students and important ladies in their lives (moms, grandmoms, aunts, etc.) to attend. Please complete a registration form and return it to your child's classroom, along with payment, no later than Friday, February 19. The cost of the breakfast is $3.50 per child and $5.00 per adult. Please make checks payable to the Downes PTA. If you have any questions, please contact the event coordinator, Lee Irving at 302-650-0329 or leeirving@leeirving.com. P.S. Calling all Guys ... Join the "Dad Squad" ...(Dads, Grandpas, etc.) We're in need of volunteers to prepare the feast for our ladies, so dads and other interested fellows, please indicate your availability for the evening of February 23 for food prep and cafeteria set up and the morning of the 24th for serving and clean up. |
