The mission of
the Christiana High School PTSA is to provide support for CHS
activities and serve as a liaison between home and school.
We focus on supporting parents, students, teachers and
administrators in order to promote the welfare of our youth.
We work to find solutions to issues that effect education such
as testing, educational standards, broad based student
recognition, a better learning environment, and improved
communication between all members of the CHS community.
PTSA members serve on Site Council, School Improvement Plan
Committee and represent our school at District meetings.
The PTSA supports various student activities including dances,
student concerts and drama presentations and academic
competitions, and provide snacks on mornings of school wide
testing.
This web site
is a way to promote communication. It includes membership applications and announcements. If
there is something else you would like to see included, please
call the phone line and leave a message.
The PTSA meets
monthly at CHS. The meeting is generally held on the first
Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the G-Cafeteria. We
encourage
all parents, students and staff to become involved in
PTSA in whatever way you can. Attend meetings as time
permits. Share you ideas. Volunteer if you can.
The PTSA can be contacted by phone at 454-2123 x12166.
