Message from
Christina Superintendent,
Dr. Marcia V. Lyles
 |
|
I
would like to extend
a warm welcome to potential
parents and visitors to
our
District. Moving to
a
new community, and
researching the best schools
and programs
for your
children, can be
a daunting
task. I hope that you
find the information in this
and other sections of our
website informative and
useful. The Christina
School District seeks to
be a partner in this important
endeavor,
and we will work hard
to make sure that your
experiences with the
Christina School District
are positive.
As a district, we are
committed to increasing
communication between school
and home, and we are
continuing to build
partnerships with our most
important audience -
parents. My staff and I are committed to making
sure that we remain focused
on students, teaching, and
learning, and that we are
engaging parents in the
process
of student success.
The theme of this year
is "Expect Excellence:
every day, for every child,
in every class." This
is a guiding principle that
I have followed throughout
my professional career.
I am working diligently to
encourage employees,
students, parents, and
community members
to keep
this focus throughout the
year.
We look forward to an
exciting and rewarding
school year that is focused
on high expectations and
quality customer service.
I hope the information on
the Christina website will
provide resources that help
both you and your child have
a successful experience in
our schools. Please
contact the Public
Information Office if
you
need additional information
or cannot locate
information. Phone:
