The Christina School District is
unique in the State of Delaware
because it oversees both the
Delaware
School for the Deaf and the
Delaware Autism Program, both
statewide programs that address the
unique learning needs of students
throughout the state. In
addition, Christina’s REACH Program
serves students with disabilities in
grades
K-12. Christina is also home
to the Douglass School, an
alternative setting for students in
grades K-8.
Two additional high school options,
the Networks Career Training Program
and the Sarah Pyle Academy for
Academic Intensity, offer unique
opportunities for students in grades
9-12. Networks serves students
ages 16 to 21 who are best suited to
learning outside the traditional
classroom setting the opportunity to
complete their high school education
while learning career and
independence skills. Sarah Pyle
Academy is a non-traditional high
school environment that assists each
student in achieving the goal of
earning a high school diploma and
becoming employed and ready for
post-high school training.
