"Partnership Zone" Schools

On January 7, 2011, after nearly four months of planning, community input, and deliberations, State of Delaware Secretary of Education Dr. Lillian M.Stubbs Elementary School Lowery announced that the Delaware Department of Education (DOE) had approved ambitious plans to improve Delaware's first four "Partnership Zone" schools.

DOE approved reform plans for Delaware's first four Partnership Zone schools which includes Stubbs Elementary School.  Stubbs's reform plan is officially a transformation model and reflects the needs of the schools' individual students, including targeted strategies to improve student performance.  In the transformation model, schools make significant changes to their governance and operation.
