"We welcome involvement by the community in making the Student Code of Conduct fair and equitable to all students," said Christina Superintendent Dr. Marcia V. Lyles.  "The District has invited public feedback on the Student Code of Conduct every year for many years, and this year is no exception.  We may see a larger number of people engaged in this issue this year, and that's a good thing.  We may see some changes and recommendations coming from the state's Discipline Task Force, and that's a good thing, too.  We are ready to hear from the public and to work together to develop a Student Code of Conduct that reflects our community's goals for school discipline and student safety."
