Facts About School Choice:

  • School Choice applications for the 2010-2011 school year will be accepted November 1, 2009 through January 13, 20010.

  • GENERAL INFORMATION:  [English]  [Spanish] 

  • APPLICATIONS:

  • COMPLETED APPLICATIONS must be mailed, faxed or hand delivered to the District administrative office.

    • Mail completed applications to:

      • School Choice/Education Options Office
        600 North Lombard Street
        Wilmington, DE  19801

    • Fax completed applications to:  302-429-4138. 

    • Schools will not accept applications.  They must be mailed, faxed or hand delivered to the address and fax number listed above.

  • Choice students who attended kindergarten in the 2009-2010 school year must submit a Choice application for 1st grade if they wish to remain at their choice school.

  • A separate application must be competed for each child.

  • The choice application is limited to three choice schools.  Please list the school names in priority order.

  • A separate application for each district is required if you are submitting choice applications to more than one district.
