is eligible?: Students in

Purpose: This award recognizes
students who best exemplify the
qualities that Asia Price and Nicole
Cantara demonstrated as students -
helpfulness, perseverance and good
citizenship.

grade science students.

Purpose: To enrich formal
education by awarding twelve
students a week of day camp at the
Delaware Aerospace Academy.

students in grades Kindergarten
through 12 in all schools.

Purpose: Established in memory
of Raymond Metts to honor deserving
students for potential talent,
ability and interests.

Visual and
Performing Arts Award |

Application Form |
- Who
is eligible?: Students in
grades 2-5 who are eligible for free
or reduced lunch in all elementary
schools. Twelve students will
receive scholarships for lessons or
camps.

Purpose: The purpose of the
Visual and Performing Arts Award is
to recognize students in grades 205
who have shown commitment to
education and who show an interest
in the arts. Award winners in
Visual Arts will receive 2 weeks of
summer camp at the Newark Arts
Alliance. Winners of the
Performing Arts Award will receive 1
semester (18 classes) of instruction
at the Newark Performing Arts.
