Bancroft Elementary School is dedicated to creating a partnership with the community to promote excellence in education in a positive, safe and nurturing environment. School personnel will foster the development of and respect for individual differences while holding students to high standards and expectations. Students will develop creative thinking and problem solving skills necessary to become productive, responsible citizens who have the desire and passion for life-long learning. The Bancroft Parent Resource Center has lots to offer families! Please drop by to make use of our facility and find out what is going on at Bancroft for parents. We feature a reading corner and toy box to keep young children amused- while you explore literature on health and education, programming by community agencies, or use our computers to job search! Did you know about our coupon exchange? Check here for savings for your shopping trip- and drop off your unused coupons for someone else! Our P.R.C. has become the home of the PTA, the site of monthly pot-luck gatherings, and the destination for presentations on Special Ed, ADHD and more. Thanks to a grant from the Parent Information Center of Delaware and the support of a dedicated staff, parents have an important place at Bancroft! Parent Information Center of Delaware
