Christina to Host "Back to School Barbeques"
in Wilmington and Newark
Families and Community Members are Invited to Welcome the
New School Year and Learn More About District Offerings

Bayard Middle School and Glasgow High School will be the sites for two Back to School Barbeque events to welcome families and community members and provide information about programs and resources available in the District.

The events will feature the following activities:

• Student Resource Zone - a resource fair featuring information about student programs, activities, services, after school clubs, and sports
• Parent Power Zone - information from school PTAs, Parent Information Centers, and community partners
• Community Zone - information from many community organizations that work with schools and youth
• Kids' Zone -activities for children such as face painting
• Main Stage - events may include a live DJ, Fashion Show, performances, raffle drawings
• Food Zone - hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, corn, water ice, water and more...
