Workplace Education Program
Work Site Education Enhancement partnerships are formed with local businesses to provide basic skills and other related instruction in reading, writing, mathematicsAdult Education Students and communication skills to enable employees to meet the requirements of their employment.  The partner business and the Delaware Economic Development Office share in the financial support of the program.  The program is individualized to the employee and the employer.  Instruction is given to assure transfer of learning to the work station.  Instruction is competency based and criterion referenced.  Educational counseling and referral are available to employee participants who seek education beyond the scope of the work site program.

New Castle County Learning Center (NCCLC)
The NCCLC provides individualized instruction to adults in basic skills, GED preparation, pre-employment, and life skills.  Assistance is provided for placement in job training or other education programs.  Many clients are referred by other agencies for education services as part of a total client support service plan.

Christina Continuing Education Programs (CEEP)
CCEP offers 70 to 100 or more non-credit courses for adults, youth, and children each semester in a wide variety of personal interest topics.  These classes meet for one to twenty sessions.  The participant pays a modest fee for the program.  A course catalog is available after Labor Day and after New Year's Day for the two semesters.  Courses include many computer and work-related topics, business and personal skills, occupational and personal safety, arts, crafts, languages and dance and fitness topics.  Continuing Education also has a summer instrumental music program for beginning and continuing elementary students.  Mail registrations are taken for three weeks closing with an in-person registration night.  Suggestions are welcome for courses desired or of persons who are interested in teaching in the program.  Click here for more information
