About Us
The
Christina School District is Delaware's largest
public school system, serving 16,800 students and
employing 2,500 people. Our
district currently
serves the City of Newark and its surrounding
suburban areas as well as a portion of the City of
Wilmington.
Christina has 18
elementary schools,
4
middle schools,
and 5
high schools. In addition, the District
is home to the
Delaware School for the Deaf
(preschool-Grade 12), the
Delaware Autism Program
(preschool-Age 22),
Douglass Alternative School
(Grades K-8),
REACH and Options Programs
(Grades
K-12),
and
Networks Career Training Program
(Grades
9-12).
