About Us
The
Christina School District is Delaware's largest
public school system, serving 17,000 students and
employing more than 2,000 people. Our
district currently
serves the City of Newark and its surrounding
suburban areas as well as a portion of the City of
Wilmington.
Christina has 18
elementary schools, four
middle schools,
and five
high schools. In addition, the District
is home to the
Delaware School for the Deaf
(preschool-Grade 12), the
Delaware Autism Program
(preschool-Ages 22),
Douglass Alternative School
(Grades K-8),
REACH and Options Programs
(Grades
K-12),
and
Networks Career Training Program
(Grades
9-12).
